"During my stay in Shanghai, I was focusing on the sceneries what create Shanghai City and working on it. This piece derived from daily sceneries I stumbled on when I walk around. Many people hung their laundry in a public space on a sunny day. It makes the city colorful. Very trivial things and sceneries in the city build the own character. I hope that people try to think such trivial things are turned to precious things in our life." (Ai Sugiura)
