"The rocks are photographed from my multiple visits at Yu Yuan in Shanghai. I tried to bring them to my world by getting rid of busy background and adding colors of my choice. The background and the rocks are photographed separately in different negatives. Then the negatives are cut, taped and layered later by hand." (Ina Jang, 215)
