Elías Peña Salvador - Solo Exhibition at Jardin Orange

Former artist-in-residence Elías Peña Salvador is showing his latest works in his solo show at Jardin Orange, Shenzen.

Elías Peña Salvador was born and raised in Spain. His new series of paintings are based off of his observations of everyday life in Shenzhen: moments of community and intimacy in public spaces, elderly people playing games by a curb, women falling asleep at a bus station, men traveling on a motorbike. 

In each work, the artist discovers the narrative capacity of the rapidly modernizing communities around him and expresses their stories through a  unique painting process that utilizes spray paint, acrylic, and oil.
