Tension - a solo exhibition by Maya Smira

Come and visit the latest solo exhibition of former artist-in-residence Maya Smira curated by Peipei Han as one of Photofair Shanghai’s special projects and with support of Brownie Project.

Touching on issues in the bigger picture concerning anthropological studies of femininity, social-political situations between countries and industrial invasions with destruction to the natural environment, Maya Smira looks at the tension formed between human and nature, between humans and humans, and the transmission of this “invisible force” between the viewer and the artworks.
