Welcome to Swatch Art Talks
2021 has been a year rich with emotions: the 10 years anniversary of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel has been celebrated around the world, with special projects and exhibitions.
One of the most enriching projects has been the “Swatch Art Talk” series: four outstanding cultural institutions and thirteen artists-in-residence have joined the Swatch platform created to share and exchange about art and the artist’s experience.

The Energy of Water – Karole P.B. Vail, Director Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice (IT), with artists Stefano Ogliari Badessi, Yang Wang Preston, Zhu Ye.
Time and Space – Vilma Jurkute, Executive Director Alserkal Arts Foundation with artists Noor Al Suawidi, Mona Ayyash, Khalid Mezaina, Alec Von Bargen at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai (UAE).
Artists & Residencies – Hou Hanru, Artistic Director MAXXI Museum, Rome (IT), with artists Paolo Cavinato, Nici Jost, Miguel Moreno Mateos.
The video arts landscape – Giona A. Nazzaro, Artistic Director Locarno Film Festival, Locarno (CH), with filmmakers Oren Gerner, Jabu Newman, Adrián Saba.
