"After Swatch invited me to create a limited Art watch serie, I made research on the company and learned that it is one of the first collaborating with artists and that innovation is indeed in its dna. It was challenging to think how I could innovate or bring something new to such a company with so many years of design in its history. But I am always up for a challenge, I created a watch with Augmented Reality, which I believe was the first time ever for Swatch. My watch also reminds the user to stop and rest, look up, meditate, take it easy; and I included a unique watercolour painting inside each watch’s packaging." (José Carlos Casado)
