Echoes

"I did an installation in Swatch Art Peace Hotel named < Echoes> in 2020 -2021. I focus on migration such a dynamic word, this flow, purposeful and regular rush around. The human plague in 2020 will have a strong impact on our own social ecology, but I think it is not only a sudden shock to the fate of human beings, but also a sudden change in human migration behavior, which will indirectly affect other species. So here, I selected three different species, humans, crow and bee, and used installation to present the inter-contamination in my concept.

The trace is a big element from my whole installation named <Echoes>. The crow is an important element in my entire large installation. I used torn translucent copy paper to draw hundreds of different forms of crows, and then put them together to form a large collage. All the crows infiltrate each other, looming, forming an ambiguous influence." (Li Wan, 2021)
