"In the picture, which is the intersection that I would pass through every day during my residency, I chose to record the moment when a vehicle passed, and some marginalized groups of people in the city were forbidden to pass - perhaps to maintain the appearance of the city, and in some ways to evict some groups in the city. This kind of people, has always been the focus in my works, and it was also my original intention to come to Shanghai, where the conflict between the city and people is more distinct."
