"Chameleon is a series that I have been creating since 2015, in which the unique appearance of the chameleon, and the attributes of the creature that changes color with the environment simultaneously symbolize my appearance and personality. By recycling and extracting materials from personal clothes I wore during my art residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel and from old shops in Shanghai, I condense this period into an entity, exploring the metaphors of reptiles in anthropology and symbolism in the context of contemporary life."
