"It’s five in the morning, we are facing the Bund in Shanghaï.
 Kites are flying away to harvest the daytime. Every morning, before going to work, kite lovers are taking time to look at the sky. Their kites cross the azure carried out by the wind. A breath before the city’s waking up. This daily scenery has amazed us as viewers.
 This singular pastime has inspired us as artists. A close link relates the notion of time and the kite.
Our aim is to underline this analogy and to translate the passing of time by considering the weather. During twelve days, we watched the sky in detail and we pictured fragments. A chromatic translation of time, where the sky is associated to the kites to compose a series of «Ciels Volants». The skies of these two kites are from April 27th (blue one) and May 4th (grey one)."
