“Money art is an artistic interpretation through a cultural and socio-historical perspective that illustrates and transforms the concept of banknotes and coins. The Metamorphosis Series explores the transformation that is done to the banknote to transport it to an eternal work of art, since banknotes have a specific life cycle and durability and are then destroyed by central banks or institutional bodies in charge of issuing cash.” (almenardiaz, 2025)
