New artist arrival: Lethokuhle Msimang

Writer, sound artist and filmmaker Lethokuhle Msimang from South Africa arrives at the artist residence.

Lethokuhle Msimang was born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She graduated with a BA in Literary Studies and Creative Arts from the American University of Paris and an MA in Creative Writing from Rhodes University. Her poems have appeared in New Coin, Grocott’s Mail, Hanging Loose, The Paris/Atlantic, Stanzas, Il Tolomeo, amongst others.

During her residence the artist plans to the refine creative and conceptual framework of her new manuscript, The Strict Confines of Dignity and Beauty.
