New artist arrival: Mark McGuiness

Mark McGuinness is a photographic artist from Dublin, Ireland. Reoccurring themes found throughout his work are ideas of history, ecology, and time. Mark has a Masters degree from Aalto University of Art, Design, Architecture, Helsinki.

During his stay at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel he’s planning to create a body of work based on Shanghai's rail network. The final work will be a series of framed prints and a photobook as well as a short film merging each individual set of frames together.
