New artist arrival: Ye Fan

Ye Fan, a multidisciplinary artist from China arrives at the artist residence. 
Artistic focus: Painting / Craft, Applied and Decorative Arts

Ye Fan graduated from the China Academy of Art. His works mainly involve installation and painting while using different materials to form montage-style editing in an innovative way. In his works Ye Fan is constantly exploring the boundaries of different media and translating into his unique language.

During his residency the artist will create a new body of work using and recycling left over materials from Shanghai’s factories with the objective to create an "urban tactile experience”.
