The Swatch Art Peace Hotel @ Locarno Film Festival 2021
All the way from Shanghai to Locarno, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary at the Locarno Film Festival, where Swatch is Official Partner also in 2021.
From August 4th to 14th, an international traveling exhibition features the works of four filmmakers from the artists residency.
The exhibition is on view at the BaseCamp: ex-army headquarter transformed during the film festival in an open and inclusive place. Here 150 young creatives between 18 and 30 years old, selected from the major art and film schools in Switzerland, live and work together.
The BaseCamp is a shared community experience where to discover new ideas and cultural approaches.
In this hub of creativity, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel presents the works of the four filmmakers Jabulile Nadia Newman (South Africa), Elizabeth Lo (USA/Hong Kong), Pedro Collantes (Spain) as well as Oren Gerner (Israel)
