"This work primarily explores the diversity and complexity of identity, as well as the changes brought about by the shifts between different roles in life. At the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, I observed a variety of people passing by every day, with towering skyscrapers standing opposite, while just a short walk away, there are older historical buildings. Additionally, returning to my hometown for the Lunar New Year highlighted further contrasts. Drawing on these experiences and the theme of identity, I created this piece." (Haofan Liu, 2025)
