Juan Pablo Chipe: La Retro

Former artist-in-residence Juan Pablo Chipe from Mexico is presenting his works from the past 25 years in the solo exhibition "La Retro".

"La Retro" is a visual arts exhibition that celebrates the 25 years of the artistic career of Juan Pablo Chipe (1997-2022) at the "La Línea Art studio" gallery in Nogales Arizona (USA).

Chipe's work covers several artistic disciplines, painting, collage, installation, assembly and video give shape to his artistic creations through the general theme of the revaluation of everyday cultural waste. In his artistic career he has held more than 300 exhibitions (group and individual) in 31 countries. Completed artist residences in Los Angeles, Berlin, Utrecht, Ancona, Malaga and most recently (October 2023), at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai.
