"Realizing that I was going to step into Swatch Art Peace Hotel, I decided to bring this old Shanghai-style filing cabinet that I had reserved for a long time. I hid nine ceramic tadpoles I made in The filing cabinet, and made one of drawer into golden swimming pools, also can called petri dishes. Most amphibians look like tadpoles in their infancy. It is difficult to see their future at this stage, so do mine. Likewise, my future is like a “question mark”, which is full of unknown possibilities." (Dong Xiaochi, 2021)
