Stars of Earth 2

"This work was inspired by the contrast between my quiet neighborhood and the bustling Bund. Taking a walk in Huangpu Park, I noticed fallen leaves on the wet ground—their contrast against the surrounding stones was so striking that they looked like stars.

This visual impression led me to reflect on how, across both Eastern and Western cultures and histories, people have looked to the stars to navigate their way home and find their direction. This idea became the foundation for one of the paintings in my Stars of Earth series, symbolizing a return to the right track—a journey toward inner peace and a sense of belonging."
