The world as Chinese artist Landi (pseudonym of Lin Jiechu) usually experiences is relatively unreal: she believes that human beings often forget to pay attention to true spiritual beauty and true happiness within the huge social machine that we occupy. She imagined her creative amusement park, ‘Landi Land’, with a sense of adventure, a world in which light and strange creatures are real. She explores ways with which she can accurately capture this spiritual beauty and play with new friends who will enter her Landi Land. ‘Collage Garden’ is one of the game sessions in Landi Land and is a continuation of the previous series. The colors of her collages are also the colors she loved as a child, capturing the simple, happy memories of early creativity. She believes that we all want to rediscover our own inner child when we enter the complicated world of adults. Her collages seek to provide everyone with a childlike sense of wonder and innocence.
