New artist arrival: Medhi Saeedi

Visual artist and painter Medhi Saeedi from Iran arrives at the artist residence.

Mehdi Saeedi is a visual artist living and working both in the USA as well as in Iran. He has studied Art & Design at the University of Cambridge and Graphic Design with the Ministry of Culture. During his stay at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel he’s planning to create a series of paintings that explore the concept of karma through Persian letters and abstract calligraphy. The series will feature faces with varying expressions, reminding viewers of the impact of our actions and intentions on our lives and those around us.
