New artist arrival: Roman Lipski

Visual and multimedia artist Roman Lipski from Germany arrives at the artist residence.

During his stay the artist aims to revive my acclaimed AI Muse project. Trained on his traditional landscape paintings, the closed GAN suggested 'Lipski' artworks—forms, colors, compositions. He then uses these as inspiration to paint new abstract works which were added to the dataset, the responses of the AI Muse again inspired his next paintings, and so onward.

While in Shanghai Roman Lipski plans to paint again in dialogue with his AI Muse, potentially Muse 2.0.
